The mantel, entertainment center, and adjoining bookcase were built by fine cabinetmakers and match the kitchen cabinets perfectly. Post and beam construction is covered with beautiful woodworking and match the exterior. |

Natural light and special lighting effects make this space very comfortable, and well lit at any time of the day. The gas fireplace is simple and clean to use. This is a very cozy part of the house.

Informal dining for up to 16. There is a large comfortable window seat, on which is great to curl up with a book. Double French doors lead out to deck that is large enough for 10-15 people. On other side of the Family room is another set of French doors, which leads to the courtyard. |
The hidden entertainment center has 4 speakers built into the Family room. In addition, the sound system is wired to speakers in the Living room, and speakers are built into the Art Studio, the Master Bedroom’s sitting room, Master bath, and lower level. |
